The highest priority for any believer is to know (be tuned in) to what God says. God and His Word are to have the highest position of authority for all believers. For this to be false is to question God\u2019s authority and truth. Questioning God\u2019s authority is what got Adam and Eve into trouble.<\/p>\n<p>Those who abide not in sound doctrine are not of God and are not to be received (2 John 9-10).<\/p>\n<p>As believers, we are to abide in and depend upon sound doctrine. Sound doctrine is not a figment of human imagination, but it is based on the eternal truth of God. The whole point of Baptist Doctrine is to know what God&#8217;s Word says is sound doctrine.
